Over ¼ of US adults report using CBD products in the past year.

In a recent survey, 26.1% of US adults aged 16 to 65 reported using CBD products over the past 12 months. CBD use was slightly higher in women and in adults aged 26-35. Almost 40% of CBD users have never used cannabis. 

Most people are using CBD for health reasons. 

Over 60% of CBD users in the US reported consuming products to treat or manage symptoms of a health concern. CBD consumers perceive that CBD is healthy. 

Pain, anxiety, depression, headaches, and sleep problems are treated most often.

CBD users commonly report treating pain (52.1%), anxiety (51.5%), depression (34.0%), headaches/migraines (33.5%), and problems sleeping (27.1%). Many users were treating more than one condition at the same time. 

CBD is a popular consumer health product being used widely in the United States. Consumers are using CBD to treat a diverse range of health conditions.
